Deck and Hull Equipment

The Grand Banks semi displacement hull design, with a fine entry forward, hard chines aft and a full keel, has been proven on waters around the world. Known for her economical performance and safety. The 42 Europa offers a generous fly-bridge with seating for eight, a designated space for the dinghy and easily accessible stairs leading from the cockpit. The overhangs of the Europa not only offer shade below but provide additional deck space for kayaks, surfboards, or other cumbersome craft. The recessed or protected main decks are safe and secure with a grab rail at every turn.

Sightlines from the fly-bridge are unobstructed towards the bow and stern. Teak decking on the bridge and the wide, side decks provides not only beauty but sure footing as well. The large lazarette allows easy, hidden storage of cruising gear. The GB 42's displacement and waterline length figures show you get more real boat than in other manufacturers advertised to be close to the same size.
